I am having a relaxing weekend, no obligations just time for me to do whatever I want to do.  Those kinds of weekends don't happen often.  Today I am posting a project that I made a few months ago for a family friend's baby shower.  She was having a boy and the color scheme for her shower was non-traditional.  Red, black and white.
So I had this great aha moment to make a microwave popcorn pack wrapper.  The sentiment for the wrapper was "ready to pop" since she was ready to deliver and the popcorn was also ready to pop.

I was really happy with how this turned out.  I used 3 cartridges for this project, Nates ABCs, Sugar and Spice and Storybook.  I also embossed the black background trying to give the feel of popcorn.  The white band was cut at 4.25 by 11 inches and I just used tape to attach it to the popcorn pack.
The sock monkey is actually a girl with a bow on her hat but I cut off that portion and left the bow off.
What do you think?
Hope the rest of your weekend is great.
